ABOUT THE ORDER LIST

The Order List is automatically updated by amendments you make in the Grocery Pages.  You can either print off the Order List to record the number of required groceries and pharmaceuticals, as you walk around the house or simply type in the quantities where the figures will automatically update the Grocery Page quantities and Shopping List.

For your convenience, we've introduced an Order List worksheet which you can print off and use to walk around the house to record the required grocery items for that week (including pharmaceutical supplies).  We recommend using a pencil, this way you can simply erase the quantities from week to week; and thereby, not having to print off a new Order List each week (we keep our Order List on the side of the fridge). 

NB: If you enter quantities in both the Order List and Grocery Pages, the Shopping List will record the quantities from the Grocery Pages as these are the dominant pages that all the other worksheets are updated from.  So, like us, if your preference is to enter your orders from the Order List, just make sure all the quantities in the Grocery Pages have been deleted.

The Order List is automatically populated by the items you have entered into the grocery pages; therefore, if you make amendments to any of the items in a grocery page (Fruit & Veg worksheet as an example), those changes will automatically be reflected in the Order List worksheet.  The Order List Worksheet cannot be amended.

NB: On average, it takes our family no more than 15 minutes to whip around the house to determine our required grocery items.  The Order List is also a great prompt to help the family decide whether they need extra shampoo etc.
