ABOUT THE FREE GROCERY BILL BUSTING e-WORKBOOK

The FREE Grocery Bill Busting E-Workbook has been created to encourage you to work within a proven, structured and disciplined grocery budgeting framework which is realistic in today's modern world.  Because no matter how many grocery saving tips and tricks you follow, if there is no structure and disciplined framework to work within, you will soon fall off the grocery saving wagon.

Equally, if the grocery saving tips and tricks you're trying to follow are simply not relevant or achievable for your family to practice; then again, you'll fall off the grocery saving wagon.  If you're nodding your head right now in agreement, you might feel like you're a dodgy stunt man or woman who has a battered and bruised body.  But don't worry you're not the Lone Ranger and yes, the e-workbook will provide you with great solutions.

One of the solutions is to work within a proven, structured and disciplined grocery budgeting framework I have dubbed "The Grocery Bill Busting Triangle", I wanted to call it pyramid, but my wife feared everyone would think I was trying to flog a pyramid selling system - which I'm definitely not!

The E-Workbook comprises of two parts:

  • Part A - Understanding and Practising the Power of the Highly Organised and Disciplined Grocery Bill Busting Triangle; and

  • Part B - Realistic and Achievable Tips and Trick to Save Time and Money on Your Grocery Shopping

In Part A, I explain the importance of using the Grocery Budget to create a number of worksheets that will form the building blocks to create the Grocery Bill Busting Triangle.  These building blocks include:

  1. Weekly Set Menu, Personal Items, Cleaning & Pet and Pharmaceuticals

  2. Inventory Lists (Grocery Pages)

  3. Order List

  4. Shopping List; and

  5. Supermarket/Chemist

As you can see from the above numbered bullet points, each building block flows into a logical and orderly process, which when assembled, creates the Grocery Bill Busting Triangle (diagram to the left).  The key to the Grocery Bill Busting Triangle's success is to work within this structure.  This means, if you don't have items and their unit prices from a particular supermarket or chemist listed in the Grocery Pages, then those items won't appear in the Order List or the Shopping List.  Which means, you don't drive those items home.

The advantages of working within such a disciplined structure are that you will only order and buy what's available in the Grocery Pages; therefore, you'll be less likely to impulse buy.  In short, you'll be well on the way to saving time and money on your grocery shopping.

In the e-workbook, I also recommend leaving the Order List in a prominent place, inside the house, so that everyone in your family knows the number one ground rule which is: "If you don't reorder your supermarket and/or chemist items, you'll need to wait another week for those items".

At at end of each chapter, there is a review summary and a "To Do List" to help you to become more familiar with each chapter.

In Part B, I road test a few grocery shopping tips and tricks to see how they stack up in today's busy and expensive world.  I also include a number of my favourite grocery shopping tips and tricks that are realistic and will save you time and money in today's busy and expensive world.  In fact, I can save you over $35 a month just in meat and poultry.
